The 2008 season is drawing to a close. Come join us for the last few retreats. The trees are showing their brilliant colors, the persimmons are ripening, the smell of woodsmoke drifts on the air.
Come to our 500 acre eco-spirit encampment at the edge of the ghost town of Keysville, near Steelville, MO in the Ozark Mountain foothills. Become a frequent traveler in this sanctuary of deep forests, big sky and flower filled meadows. This is pristine earth with deer herds, coyote packs and soaring raptors. Come feast on wild berries, organic garden produce and gourmet native plants.

Pitch your tent and sleep in the loving arms of Mother Earth under the star-filled sky. Feel the heartbeat of nature and heal your spirit in this wild remote place. Experience the very elements of human evolution … earth, air, fire and water … and understand yourself and how you fit into the world.
Nature is a gateway to the wider world … the sublime, the harsh and the beautiful. Share nature with children and watch them open up to the world around them. As kids encounter our land and its insects, reptiles and birds they become self-assured. Identifying useful wild plants, they feel clever. Building and feeding the campfire, they are in awe and learn respect. Walking alone under the star filled sky, they feel brave.
If you live in the Midwest, consider our Ozark retreat. With the high cost of gas, stay closer to home, be wise in use of natural resources, get "off the grid" and spend time with an earth-centered community.
Lately I have noticed a trend towards the "business" of shamanism and eco-travel rather than the "spirit" of the venture. Those called to the shamanic path should be able to study without a high financial cost. Those who wish to bring families to a remote natural place need to have an affordable place to go. I strive to keep prices reasonable for those wanting to experience the wild spirit of nature at our Ecocamps and Shamanic Retreats.
This land is my heart space and spirit home. It has taught me untold lessons and has given me a sense of who I am. I would not be the same person without these adventures in Nature. I urge you to experience who you truly are by passing through the portal of Elemental Earthcamp. Come see all that was once green and good in this world.

May the nourishment of the earth be yours, may the clarity of light be yours, may the fluency of the ocean be yours, may the protection of the ancestors be yours. And so may a slow wind work these words of love around you, an invisible cloak to mind your life.
